Surfer and Rank Math: two roles that can work together
Rank Math intervenes in the SEO configuration of a WordPress site; Surfer helps editorial work around its content. If your problem is an indexing directive or a mispublished metadata, start with the site. If the page is properly configured but responds poorly to the player, work its content. Buying both does not exempt these checks.

Distinguish publication and preparation
Check the title, description and indexing rule on the published website. On WordPress, a plugin such as Rank Math helps control this configuration. Check these settings on the website after publishing the text.
Surfer can help prepare or revise a page, but its score does not decide what Google index. Check the published HTML, canonical URL consistency and page access with the appropriate tools. A good score in a vendor is not proof of indexing.
Read separately the offers of AI
Rank Math distinguishes the extension and Content AI. Consumer rules have evolved; the old explanations of credits must not be transposed without control to the current limits by function. Check the contract and meters displayed in your account.
Surfer also distinguishes several capacities, including documents and visibility features. Estimate your needs using the number of pages to work on and the type of monitoring required. Do not directly compare two units that represent different processing tasks.
Build a validation circuit
Take a WordPress test page. Prepare accurate and useful content, then check the site for title, description, links and any structured data. Have the text read again by someone who knows the subject. Automatic suggestions must be able to be refused when they degrade accuracy.
Choose Rank Math for the WordPress functions you need, avoiding conflicts with another SEO extension. Add Surfer if editorial work justifies its cost. The expected result is a properly configured and useful page for the reader, not just two green indicators.
An article WordPress : from draft to published page
Proposed path: take a copy of the page WordPress, with a text already reread. Before optimisation, note its title, description, canonical and indexing guidelines. If it is to remain private or excluded, this objective remains a priority on a tool recommendation.
In the vendor, refuse a suggestion that adds an unproven promise or repeats a term without helping to understand. Once the page is saved, inspect the published HTML and links. Compare the published HTML with the dashboard: another plugin or theme can change the result.
The Rank Math documentation describes the move from a shared credit balance to monthly limits for each feature. A search and text generation must therefore not be added together using an old credit formula. Check the counter for the intended action before choosing a subscription.
When to add Surfer
Add an editing tool if a person regularly prepares or improves pages and can verify their facts. If the problem remains a bad WordPress configuration, solve it first. The grid Surfer specifies the available modules; it does not guarantee the indexation of a text.
