ChatBot: features, prices and limits in 2026

ChatBot.com now presents its agent AI in the Text platform. Its interest: to deal with common issues from your content, and then to transmit exchanges that require a person.

When to compare ChatBot?

Compare if your team often answers the same questions and has up-to-date answers. Start with a specific perimeter, such as delivery terms or appointment making. Not only do you evaluate the fluidity of the answers: good transmission to an advisor counts as much as automation.

What to remember before choosing ChatBot

ChatBot's current sales page presents an AI agent and a shared inbox in the Text environment. Some help pages still describe chat counters for the legacy plan. Identify the product actually being offered and avoid combining features from two generations of contracts.

What ChatBot offers on a daily basis

01
The version of the offer must be explicit

The agent can rely on web pages, help articles and documents provided by the company. Choose sources maintained rather than a set of conflicting files.

The current pricing page describes a per-seat model with included AI resolutions. Older reporting documentation uses different terminology. Before migrating to another plan, ask which workflows, data and usage counters will be retained.

02
Answers need reliable sources

The manufacturer defines the behaviour of the agent. Please specify what he or she should refuse, what information he or she may request and when he or she should seek a colleague.

Define the authorized documents and their responsible person. Exclude drafts, outdated information and unvalidated promises. The quality of an answer depends as much on this preparation as on the adjustment of the agent.

03
An action requires more control than a response

The offer presents a relay passage with the context of the conversation. During the trial, check that the consultant also finds the initial request and the answers already given.

Inform about a procedure and modify a command are two different capabilities. Define the permitted actions, conditions and human validations required. The bot must be able to recognize that a file is beyond its perimeter.

04
The resolution must be verifiable

The site connection and the integrations presented, including Shopify and WordPress, are part of the Text environment. Check the actions actually available for your configuration.

The product can count a resolution according to its definition of use. Also compare satisfaction, feedback and recovery by a human. A meter that is useful for billing is not enough to prove that all the problems have been settled on a lasting basis.

When this option makes sense

Who it is for: teams that have documented answers and want to frame their automation.

When to look at another approach: An older chat allowance is not necessarily comparable with a billed AI resolution. Confirm the billing unit and how overages are handled.

A team that already uses the old ChatBot

Start with an inventory of its scenarios and counters before comparing the current Text plan. Migration must preserve exception handling. A new price alone does not demonstrate functional equivalence with existing automations.

Price: what you really need to budget

Limits that may change your mind

An old chat quota is not necessarily comparable with a billed AI resolution. Have the account's billing unit and overage treatment confirmed. The current pricing page describes a per-seat model with included AI resolutions. Older reporting documentation uses different terminology. Before migrating to another plan, ask which workflows, data and usage counters will be retained.

Preparing your decision

Three checks to see if ChatBot suits you

Check a set of demonstration questions and the agent's limits of action.

  1. Fixing sources

Select validated responses and assign their maintenance.

  2. Test Exceptions

Include missing issue, ambiguous wording and unauthorized action request.

  3. Read the results

Control responses, relays and definition of billable events in the account.

Defining an insufficient response

Prepare for ChatBot a few voluntarily incomplete questions: absent order number, contradictory procedure or undocumented exception. The expected result may be a request for clarification or transfer to an agent. Fix this behavior before expanding the sources of the AI. The pilot must distinguish a plausible response from a response actually authorized by your support documentation.
