Miro is relevant when the work consists first of understanding together: mapping a course, confronting ideas or identifying a blockage. The table becomes useful to the company only if the workshop leads to a decision and a manager. So plan from the start how the results will be transmitted to the operational monitoring.

What Miro offers on a daily basis
Free keeps the three most recent boards editable. A meeting board that remains viewable but can no longer be updated is not equivalent to an active working document. Organise your trial around recurring workshops you want to retain, rather than accumulating templates.
The tables in the Free plan are available to team members by default. Starter adds private tables and access control. For workshops with multiple clients, the separation of files must be checked before the beautiful supports.
Miro distinguishes members, guests and visitors by public link. Members shall consume paid seats on the offers concerned. A convenient link for an open workshop can be inappropriate for a confidential discussion; choose the mode of participation based on the information displayed.
Starter offers high-resolution exports in JPG or PDF. These refunds are used to share a state of work. To transmit a workable decision, however, add a short list of actions, managers and dates: a large image of notes is not enough to organize the sequel.

Example: understand delays between sales and production
A company can draw the course of an accepted quote until delivery. Each places the information it actually receives; the holes then become questionable. The table mainly helps to highlight differences. At the exit, keep a transmission rule and a responsible person to check it. Keeping all ideas without arbitration gives an archive of meetings, not an improved functioning.

Limits that may change your mind
The free plan is not suited to keeping boards confidential between members of the same team. Check roles and access before a client workshop; being able to share a link does not prove the recipient is restricted to the right scope. The help documentation specifies three active boards and describes older additional boards as locked in read-only mode. Privacy, high-resolution exports and the number of editable boards may therefore determine when a paid plan is needed.

Three checks to see if Miro suits you
Map how a customer request is handled, then turn the identified bottlenecks into assigned actions.
- Prepare a tight workshop
Choose a single course and prepare the known steps. Ask participants to add exceptions. Separate the comments from the proposals so as not to confuse observation and solution.
- Verify external participation
Use a demonstration participant to control what it can view and modify. Close access at the end of the fiscal year and check the difference between one-time presence and long-term team membership.
- Produce a short refund
Export the board and write up no more than five decisions, each with an owner and deadline. Ask someone who was absent to read the summary: they should understand the next steps without repeating the workshop.
