Starting a business with LegalPlace: prepare documents and clarify fees

A file prepared, a formality filed and a registered company are different steps. Identify who is acting, what you pay and the evidence to keep.

Creation steps: preparation of the file, proof of deposit and then checking the outcome of the formality.

Ask for the scope in writing before ordering

To study a creation with LegalPlace, distinguish between acts, administrative deposit, mandatory fees and additional services. Then keep the formality reference and follow its outcome. A commercial promise of speed does not guarantee the date of registration of your file.

Analysis of official documentation, with no testing on a paid account.

This guide offers a documentary organization from the LegalPlace and INPI pages read the 22 October 2026. He does not choose a legal or fiscal form for your situation.

Define the decisions you need to make

The INPI directory of creations separate the routes according to the chosen form. A sole proprietorship, a SASU and a SARL therefore do not correspond to the same form or set of decisions. Before completing a questionnaire, clarify the activity, participants, address, and organization.

Prepare a list of open questions: regulated activity, association with another person, need for funding or tax system. Trust those who require an analysis of your situation to the competent professional. The input tool must collect a decision included; a pre-filled box is not a justification for the choice.

Separate support, fees and subscriptions

The Presentation of the LegalPlace service describes a questionnaire, the preparation of the file, its submission to the Single Window and the management of exchanges with the Registry. It also provides complementary services, including professional account, residence and accounting expertise. Ask which ones are part of your order.

Compare the total to be paid for your file, with administrative fees, possible options and renewals. A benefit displayed from a call amount does not describe the cost of all possible routes. Keep the summary and the conditions exactly for the selected options before paying.

Preparing a coherent, not only complete file

The form INPI on SASU illustrates the headings: identity, publication, management, institutions, beneficial owners and tax options. The documents requested depend on the information entered. This list gives a benchmark for this route; it must not be automatically applied to another form.

Let us take this case: a founder uses one address in the questionnaire, another in a draft legal document and an older supporting document in her shared folder. Before filing, she puts together a reference version, flags the inconsistency to the filing specialist and asks for confirmation of which documents to use. Sending three versions “just in case” would make the review less clear.

Classify pieces with a legible name and version date. Check missing pages, readability and match names. Transmit personal documents through the space provided for the file, with limited access to the persons concerned. Keep the originals and versions validated to meet a specific request.

Obtain proof of deposit and read the supplements

INPI indicates that the conformity of the documents is reviewed by the competent authorities after dispatch. The deposit is therefore not the final confirmation that everything has been accepted. Ask where to consult the formality, who receives the notifications and who prepares a response in case of a request for a supplement.

Record each request with the element concerned, the person responsible for replying and the reply transmitted. If the claimant announces that the file is "ready", ask if the file was filed. If it is "deposit", ask for the reference and the actual state. This precision avoids programming an action dependent on registration on an intermediate stage.

Planned change to day-to-day management

Once the formality has been completed, collect the final documents and proofs and the contracts for the services retained. Check the contact details and responsibilities for the suite: bank, billing, accounting and deadlines. Creation accompaniment and day-to-day management have distinct perimeters; choose continuous services based on your actual needs and confirmed full cost.
