StoreClaw: connect Amazon without delegating changes

A connector can read the shop and offer sensitive actions. Start with the right Seller ID, a read analysis and one approval at a time.

Start by logging in only the useful Amazon sales account, then use StoreClaw to read and diagnose before asking for a change. Keep approval "once" for the first changes. Do not add Amazon Ads until advertising analysis is part of the need.

This guide is for the e-commerce manager or manager who wants to try a AI assistant on an Amazon store without unnecessarily opening prices, product sheets or advertising. It is based on the official documentation StoreClaw consulted the 20 October 2026. Logicelio did not connect any Seller ID and did not perform any action on a real store.

Separate Reading, Modification and Advertising

The word "connect" covers several perimeters. The shop connector can read orders, catalog, stocks, prices, logistics execution, returns, commercial reports and certain financial data within the authorized scope. Transactions on sheets, prices, execution, A+ content or requests for opinions are also documented, but must be confirmed before execution.

This table is a deployment method proposed by Logicelio. Distinguish Amazon rights from StoreClaw permissions, then reread the authorization screen. The accessible functions depend on the account, market places, permissions granted and, for certain data, Amazon conditions such as registration in the Brand Registry.

Preparing the account that will authorize

The official Amazon connector procedure requires an active Seller Central account, capable of accessing the seller and the relevant marketplaces. StoreClaw and Amazon must be opened in the same browser environment during the authorisation. For a French shop, choose the Europe region, then reread the sales account and range presented by Amazon.

Do not pass the Amazon password to a colleague to speed up the trial. Documentation indicates an official OAuth route: permission is made on the Amazon page, StoreClaw does not receive the password and access can be revoked. This documented operation does not exempt you from checking the site address, the account currently logged in and the permissions displayed before you validate.

  1. Identify the Seller ID containing the pilot data and the person authorised to access it.
  2. In StoreClaw, open Plugins, install Amazon plugin, then use Connect or Add Account.
  3. Select the Europe region for the relevant French and European market places.
  4. On the Amazon page, check the seller, marketplaces and scope, then complete the authorization.
  5. Back in StoreClaw, require status Connected and give the account a name that makes it unambiguously identifiable.

The selection of a market place during OAuth does not necessarily mean that you have to start over for each country. StoreClaw documents the connection via Seller ID: the same identifier can give access to the marketplaces it manages within the authorized range. However, two separate Seller IDs require two connections.

Keep a barrier before each change

After login, open the plugin details, locate the account in Connected Accounts, then open Permissions. The documentation of sensitive actions Distinguishing four answers: allow once, allow the current request, always allow for the current task or refuse.

For the first pilot, remember Allow ounce. You then review the action, account and impact before each execution. “Allow for this request” may cover several related actions within one request; “Always for this Task” extends the scope further to an entire task. These options may be convenient later, but they reduce the number of human checkpoints. Declining blocks the current action without preventing you from rephrasing the request with a narrower scope.

The confirmation displayed by StoreClaw is not a business validation alone. Before accepting a price change, note ASIN, market place, current price, proposed price and the person who checked the margin. For a product sheet, keep the published version and check for items that might change. The person in charge must be able to explain what he authorizes without relying solely on the assistant's summary.

A pilot in three proofs, without touching the catalog

The first session can remain read-only. Ask for three narrowly defined results: a stock report for a few products, a list of returns over a set period and a price or content discrepancy to investigate. For each result, choose at least one row and locate it in Seller Central. Note the marketplace, the time of the report and the filter applied.

This check helps you decide whether the data is sufficiently up to date and correctly linked before any automation. If StoreClaw cannot find the right shop, does not show the expected marketplace or produces a total you cannot reconcile, stop the pilot and correct the connection. Do not compensate for an uncertain scope by adding more permissions.

After this three proofs, you can prepare a single action, for example a title correction on a non-critical reference. Show the details, choose the single authorization, run only if the proposal matches the decision and check the result in Amazon.

Example: a France shop and Germany, without Amazon Ads

A hypothetical example entirely solved: a small brand sells in France and Germany under the same Seller ID. She uses Amazon Ads, but only wants to diagnose breaks and returns during the first week. A second American Seller ID belongs to another company of the leader.

The chosen scope is as follows: install the Amazon plugin, select the Europe region, authorise the European Seller ID and name the connection “Marque Europe”. France and Germany are not added as two accounts if Amazon presents them under the same Seller ID. The US account remains disconnected. The Amazon Ads plugin also remains disconnected, because no campaign is to be read or changed during the pilot.

The team asks for a list of five references in both market places and compares a country reference with Seller Central. Approvals remain settled on one action at a time. At the end of the week, it may decide to continue reading, prepare an isolated change or revoke access. This control is used to find the right account and data.

Measurement of credit consumption

StoreClaw indicates that most generative tasks consume credits. The credit cost of a task is not fixed: it varies in particular with the length of the result and the number of items analysed. Page Credits and Use specifies that the exact deduction appears after execution in Settings > Usage.

During the pilot, record usage for each useful request instead of running more and more analyses. According to the current documentation, unused daily and monthly credits do not roll over, and usage history cannot be exported. The paid plan determines the allowances and some advanced capabilities; check the current pricing table before deciding. Logicelio does not reproduce a price here that may change.

When not to connect StoreClaw

Do not connect the main account if no one knows how to recognize the Seller ID, if Amazon rights are shared without responsibility or if the team has no way to verify the result in Seller Central. An assistant does not correct a blurred access governance. For an activity subject to tariff, regulatory or brand validation, keep this validation outside the tool.

The Amazon Ads connector is separate from the shop connector. The addition extends the scope to advertising accounts, campaigns, groups, keywords and search terms. The Amazon Ads documentation also requires an active advertising profile and adapted rights. This connection is therefore not a prerequisite for an analysis of orders or stocks.

Finally, the official documentation describes authorizations, confirmation of transactions and revocation. It does not provide Logicelio with evidence independent of implementation, a universal commitment to data freshness or a guarantee against configuration error. To clarify a broader deployment, see StoreClaw review, the guide to automate a reliable flow and the method to prepare a recovery of SaaS data.
