Official visual of Crisp: what it represents

New Crisp Inbox interface presented in September 2026. This is an official product visual, distinct from an interface screenshot. Logicelio relates it to the product’s positioning, “Customer messaging and multichannel support”, and to these features: a shared inbox, live chat and a knowledge base. It makes no claims about elements that are not visible in the image.

The visual comes from an official Crisp resource.

What to remember before choosing Crisp

Assess Crisp through the handover of a request between colleagues. The visitor expects a consistent answer even when the person who started the conversation is absent. Prioritise history, assignment and handover instructions before adding automated scenarios.

Original Test Title: Crisp Chat Review 2026: Features, Pros and Cons, Pricing

InterfaceFrench interface documented by the vendorChecked on 21 September 2026

What Crisp offers on a daily basis

01
Budget from workspace

Crisp presents a flat rate per workspace. Compare it to one offer per agent with the same staff and functions. For several brands or organizations, check the number of spaces needed instead of assuming that a package covers all contexts.

02
Quotas have their own management

The aid describes data and usage limits that may require an increase. Inventory the attachments, conversations and automations actually used. A fixed subscription may still require an additional capacity cost estimate.

03
History must help answer

Define the information a colleague needs to find: request, promised action and next step. Avoid long notes without operational conclusion. The useful test is the resumption of a conversation by a person who does not know the file.

04
Absence must be foreseen

Prepare the working hours and the process for handling a request received when no agent is available. The visitor should understand when and through which channel they will receive a reply. A visible widget should not imply continuous availability that does not exist.

When this option makes sense

Who it is for: small teams who want to resume conversations without losing their context.

When to look at another approach: Space pricing does not mean that all capacities are unlimited. Check the included members, channels, storage and quota of the plan.

Decision analysis

Crisp: delimiting what the AI agent can answer

A small support team can gain continuity if the current responses are reliable and if specific cases reach the right person. Add Hugo does not exempt from maintaining the information provided or defining a human recovery. Start with a stable area of questions, with a person responsible for documentation.

What the vendor documents

Documentation consulted on

  • Crisp specifies that Hugo does not automatically train on all resolved conversations. It uses the resources provided, the context of the conversation and the authorized tools; recurring missing answers must be added explicitly.

Crisp : resources used by Hugo ↗
  • The same documentation describes a diagnosis in Playground and Guardrails to examine sources and routing. It states that Playground testing also consumes credits and that unused monthly credits are not carried forward.

Prepare a set of questions before you activate Hugo

Gather demonstration questions covering accurate information, unusual reformulation, contradiction and off-site subject matter. Write the expected answer or reason for human recovery first. The control must examine the source consulted and the path of resumption, not only the fluidity of the text. It remains to be realized in your account; Logicelio has not measured a resolution rate or a time saving here.

When an answer is incorrect, correct the relevant resource or instructions before repeatedly retrying. Also reserve a testing budget: getting the settings right may have used credits before the first customer conversation. For changing data, ask how it is obtained at the time of the answer and which permissions limit actions. The number of imported pages does not prove the data will be current.

Crisp is an option for bringing conversations together and refining some recurring responses. If nobody keeps the resources up to date or takes over uncertain cases, the AI agent adds a risk of error that needs monitoring. Set its scope according to the quality of available information, then choose the plan for the channels and uses required.

A team that today shares an email box

Crisp is worth a pilot if assignment and history reduce duplicate replies. The expected benefit must be observed in how cases are handled. Adding chat without availability or a handover rule may simply create another channel to monitor.

Limits that may change your mind

Space pricing does not mean that all capacities are unlimited. Check the included members, channels, storage and quota of the plan. Crisp presents a flat rate per workspace. Preparing your decision

Three checks to see if Crisp suits you

Resuming a demonstration conversation by a colleague and then processing a message received off schedule.

  1. Assign the request

Note responsible, priority and next action without exposing actual data.

  2. Pass the relay

Check that another agent understands the history and can continue without asking the visitor to repeat everything.

  3. Control off schedule

Test the absence message, notification and return via the scheduled channel.

What Chatimize actually tested

This test was carried out by Chatimize, not by Logicelio. I cite it to provide a perspective based on actual use, without adopting its verdict as my own.

The protocol announced: Test hands-on agent AI, knowledge sources, workflows and conversation management in the inbox.

The test describes Crisp as a flexible platform combining AI, workflows and live chat, with ease of getting started assessed in practice through configuration and conversation management.
