What to remember before choosing Docusign

Docusign chooses from the contractual circuit: prepared document, recipients, order of signature and final preservation. The budget depends on the volume sent and the necessary options. The presence of the word signature in an offer is not sufficient to establish that it covers all levels of identification or all requirements of your document.

What Docusign proposes daily

01
The quota is in envelopes

The French pricing table lists five envelopes per month for Personal; Standard and Business Pro show an annual allowance per user. Work out your sending volume and its peaks. Do not automatically treat an annual allowance as an interchangeable monthly quota.

02
Signature options change the cost

The page distinguishes simple signatures from higher-level options. List recipients’ identity, evidence and country requirements before calculating costs. The right plan is the one that supports the required process, not necessarily the best-known one.

03
Templates must lock the right information

A model can speed up preparation, but it is necessary to control parts, amounts and recipient fields. Check that a copy of an old folder does not keep information from the previous client. Reuse should reduce errors rather than spread them.

04
Conservation completes process

Define where the final document and its audit trail will be closed, which can find them and how long they are required. The status signed in a dashboard does not replace a documentary organization accessible to authorized officials.

When this option makes sense

Who it is for: teams who want to organize a signature circuit and keep their evidence.

When to look at another approach: Do not confuse included simple signature with advanced or qualified signature. Have the required level determined for your use and confirm the options in the estimate.

A small team that signs recurring performances

Docusign deserves a pilot on a frequent model and an exceptional case. The choice depends on the volume, the options required and the retrieval of documents. The service's reputation is not enough to validate the signature level appropriate to each contract.

Limits that may change your mind

Do not confuse an included simple electronic signature with an advanced or qualified signature. Establish the level required for your use and confirm the options in the quote. The French pricing table lists five envelopes per month for Personal; Standard and Business Pro show an annual allowance per user. Work out your sending volume and its peaks. Do not automatically treat an annual allowance as an interchangeable monthly quota.

Preparing your decision

Three checks to see if Docusign is right for you

To circulate a fictitious document between two recipients and verify its final ranking.

  1. Describe the circuit

Note roles, order, language, authentication and signature level required.

  2. Check model

Check each field and the case of a correction or refusal before the actual shipment.

  3. Count and archive

Estimate envelopes and peaks of activity and prepare the document and its evidence.

Provide correction after sending

In a Docusign circuit, a contract may have to be corrected after receipt by the first signatory. Describe who detects the error, who can interrupt the course and how the new version will be distinguished from the old one. Include this in your audit of the envelopes and the rules of the contract. The filing must allow the signed version and its proof to be retrieved, without leaving several ambiguous files in the commercial folder.
