What to remember before choosing Freebe

Freebe first addresses the independent person who wants to follow invoicing, receipts and declarations in the same tool. Its price and certain functions depend on the legal status: compare the exact status before retaining the tariff put forward.

What Freebe offers on a daily basis

01
Quotes and invoices

Prepare a fictitious estimate with a detailed performance, then examine its transformation into an invoice and the processing of a correction. Keep separate the issued document and the settlement received. Check your situation before reusing the template for a customer.

02
Revenue tracking

Compare an invoice issued, a partial payment and a settlement received over another period. The objective is to understand the amounts displayed and their date of attachment. Do not include a total in a return without checking what it measures and the applicable rules.

03
Bank synchronisation

Before connecting your account, check the supported bank and imported data. Then consider a transfer received, an expense and a potential duplication. A bank movement must be close to the right file; its presence does not replace the supporting document.

04
Administrative management for self-employed professionals

List the tasks you want to centralise: customers, documents, payments and preparing information to share. Check the export and whether another person can read the supporting documents. The benefit depends on the work saved each month, not just the number of screens available.

The facts that change the choice

What to know about Freebe

  1. 01

The price of €12.50 including VAT per month applies to micro-enterprise status, with €150 billed annually. The pricing table also covers EI, GIE and companies: this amount must not be generalised to every legal status.

  2. 02

The official page announces estimates, invoices, bank reconciliation, revenue book and turnover declaration to Urssaf for the micro-enterprise. The Urssaf route should not be assumed to be the same for a SASU.

  3. 03

The CSV import of customers and suppliers, old invoices and transactions not covered by the bank is documented in the FAQ. A migration therefore deserves a test with the numbering and the actual data of the activity.

When this option makes sense

Who it is for: freelances and micro-enterprises focusing on simplicity.

When to look at another approach: SMEs with multiple users or complex accounting processes.

Price: what you really need to budget

Limits that may change your mind

Independant.io describes hands-on use of the software and explains how it works for freelancers, particularly invoicing and administration. The verified entry-level price is 12,50 €/month including VAT, billed annually. Freebe is designed for freelancers and micro-enterprises; multiple users, complex accounting workflows or broader business management may require a more structured solution. Check users, banking, exports, filings and accountant collaboration: limitations often emerge after the simple task of issuing an invoice.

Preparing your decision

Three checks to see if Freebe suits you

For Freebe, start with your status: billing, book of recipes and Urssaf approaches do not come in the same way for a micro-enterprise and a company.

  1. Recapture of old data

Prepare a small customer CSV file and a few old invoices. Check that invoice numbering is preserved and that transactions missing from bank synchronisation can be imported.

  2. Cash and turnover

Follow a partially paid invoice and its reconciliation. Check the amount retained in the turnover of the period before a declaration.

  3. Status Perimeter

Select your legal form from the grid. Check the reporting functions included and the payment period corresponding to the price displayed.
