The French version of QuickBooks was discontinued after 31 December 2023. New subscriptions had already stopped on 18 January 2023. This review explains the restriction and helps prepare the choice of a replacement; it does not recommend opening a new QuickBooks account for a French business.

The official announcement applies to business owners and accountants alike. The export and read-only access periods mentioned in it have passed. Do not present those former windows as a way to retrieve records today.
A rate or function seen on the American site does not describe a reopening in France. The country of an offer determines part of the contract and the functional scope. The simple possibility of opening a web page does not make it possible to conclude eligibility.
If you used QuickBooks France, start with the exports and documents you have already kept. Separate sales documents, accounting entries, contacts and supporting documents. Organised records let you request a clearly defined migration instead of importing files whose period you do not know.
Describe the tasks that actually need to be taken over: issuing invoices, tracking payments, preparing accounting records or bookkeeping. The replacement does not necessarily need to reproduce every screen of the former tool; it must cover your organisation’s responsibilities.
