Amen hosting: budget beyond the first year

An initially cheaper plan may cost more later. A review of Web Hosting offers and a simulation show how to prepare your budget.

Annual simulation excluding VAT: Starter 53,28 then 88,80 euros, Advanced 42,48 then 141,60 euros, Expert 192,72 then 283,44 euros.
Logicelio simulation: 12 times the promotional monthly price recorded on 8 October 2026, then 12 times the crossed-out reference price recorded at the same time. Excludes domains, taxes and options. This chart is neither a quote nor a renewal guarantee.

Compare the cost that will remain after the rebate

For Amen hosting, start with the number of sites and the resources needed, then separate the introductory price from the standard price without a discount. The budget must also include a line for the domain and optional extras. A plan with more resources may cost less initially and more later.

Analysis of official documentation, with no testing on a paid account.

Web Hosting of the 8 October 2026

The official Web Hosting Amen grid listed Starter at €4.44 excluding VAT/month, with a crossed-out reference price of €7.40; Advanced at €3.54 and €11.80; and Expert at €16.06 and €23.62. The displayed limits were respectively one, five and ten websites, with 50, 200 and 500 GB of SSD NVMe storage.

The conditions for promotion Consulted on the same day limited the Web Hosting discount to the first year, until the 13 October 2026, excluding renewals. They reserved promotions to clients residing in the European Union. This statement does not make it possible to promise these prices after that date, nor to know your renewal invoice in advance.

An amount displayed "per month" may be used to present a monthly cost. Check in the cart the period actually ordered and the total to pay now. Our analysis does not state that Amen proposes a monthly cancellation at the prices quoted: the conditions of your order must confirm this. Do not compare a monthly commitment equivalent with a monthly subscription without noting this difference.

A two-year simulation, not a quote

Our calculation multiplies each monthly amount by twelve. The first column uses the observed promotional price; the second uses the observed crossed-out reference price. The assumption is that this reference price would remain unchanged for a full second year. It illustrates how the budget changes after the discount, without guaranteeing that a contract or future price will follow that assumption.

Simulation in euros excluding VAT from 8 October 2026
Plan12 months at the launch price12 months at barred referenceTotal illustrative
Starter4,44 × 12 = 53,28 €7,40 × 12 = 88,80 €142,08 € excluding VAT
Advanced3,54 × 12 = 42,48 €11,80 × 12 = 141,60 €184,08 € excluding VAT
Expert16,06 × 12 = 192,72 €23,62 × 12 = 283,44 €476,16 € excluding VAT

In this scenario, Advanced costs 10,80 € excluding VAT less than Starter in the first period, then its total over two periods is higher than 42 € excluding VAT. The ranking therefore changes according to the chosen horizon. This calculation does not conclude that Starter is preferable: Advanced can meet a need for several sites that Starter does not cover.

The the recorded data and calculation assumptions are available. All amounts remain in euro excluding VAT as published; no monetary conversion is used. We exclude taxes, domains, benefits and options from this simulation. The basket and accepted conditions remain necessary to determine your invoiced cost.

Your workflow

Estimate your hosting costs over two years

Enter the annual amounts excluding VAT of your shopping cart or quote. No Amen rates are pre-filled: the historical statement above is not worth a current offer.

Assumption: two periods of twelve months, the same options each year and a setup fee paid once. If the renewal price is unknown, use a clearly labelled assumption. The result excludes taxes, involves no currency conversion and does not guarantee prices.

Inform your scenario for details.

Select resources from the project

For an independent who operates a single showcase site, start by measuring the current files, the number of mailboxes and the technical needs of the application. A large disk capacity does not bring value if your site and its images use little space. On the other hand, a need for more than one site requires verification of the site boundary, even when storage appears to be largely sufficient.

Total storage alone does not describe the capacity available to a database or mailbox. In the pricing table consulted, Starter listed five MySQL databases of 1 GB, Advanced twenty-five of 2 GB and Expert one hundred of 5 GB. For an existing site, request the database size separately from the files: an oversized database can prevent migration despite substantial free disk space.

Do not translate "unlimited traffic" into a promise of unlimited performance. Ask for restrictions on the processor, memory, simultaneous processes and authorized uses. An e-commerce catalogue, a cached editorial site and an application that performs frequent processing do not use the same resources.

Put restoration in the operating budget

The Web Hosting table lists backup retention of twelve hours for Starter and Advanced and twenty-four hours for Expert, while the text advertises automatic backups. Ask for confirmation of the backup frequency, the recoverable time window and the content restored. Twelve hours does not mean twelve days of history.

For a site that is rarely changed, an error discovered the following week may require an archive older than the advertised retention window. For an active shop, restoring a backup may also roll back order data. Agree with your provider on the restore point and the method for reconciling data received since that point. The hosting price does not automatically cover this operational work.

So plan a separate line for an external copy if your organization needs it. Before paying for an additional service, check whether a service already subscribed covers this role and whether the files are recoverable. Avoid comparing two backup solutions only by their frequency: shelf life and exploitable recovery also count.

The items to add before validating the basket

A fictitious consulting workshop with a site, three mailboxes and a contact form can use this list without subscribing to each line. Its priority will be to confirm that the three boxes are covered, that the form is correctly sent and that someone is responding in the event of a breakdown. An association that manages four sites will first have a multisite and access sharing constraint. These are decision profiles, not deployments made by Logicelio.

Compare other hosts on the same scope

Our comparative Hostinger and PlanetHoster helps to examine projects and resources, while the comparative Hostinger and SiteGround also covers backups and staging. For a useful comparison with Amen, use the same number of websites, payment period and restoration requirements. Starting prices for three plans with different scopes are not enough.

If you do not want to give WordPress, consider the scope of managed WordPress at Amen. If your only need is a name, our .fr domain guide helps distinguish domain registration from hosting. None of these choices removes the need to read the order and its renewal terms.

The decision to make before paying

Keep a copy of the cart, service details and applicable terms. Show the initial payment, reference price after the discount, cost items still unknown and the person who will handle maintenance. An unknown value must remain unknown: request a quote instead of turning an assumption in our table into a guaranteed price.
