MailerLite: newsletters, automation and landing pages

Newsletter, automation and landing pages.

At a glance

Is MailerLite worth considering?

Yes if you recognize yourself here: creators and small teams with simplicity and cost. Newsletter, automation and landing pages. Less suitable for: complex marketing requiring CRM or pushed scoring. In this case, look at an alternative of the same category.

Official visual of MailerLite: what it represents

New automation builder presented by MailerLite in 2025. This is an official product visual, distinct from an interface screenshot. Logicelio relates it to the product’s positioning, “Newsletters, automation and landing pages”, and to these features: newsletters, automations, and landing pages and websites. It makes no claims about elements that are not visible in the image.

The visual comes from an official MailerLite resource.

What to remember before choosing MailerLite

Assess MailerLite through a simple workflow: someone signs up, receives the promised content and can choose not to be contacted again. For a small business, the challenge is to maintain this process without relying on a complex setup. Define newsletter frequency and the role of automatic messages before selecting a plan.

Original Test Title: MailerLite Review (2026): Uncovering All Its Pros and Cons

What MailerLite offers on a daily basis

01
The free has a precise perimeter

The update of 16 June 2026 limits Free to 250 active subscribers and 2 500 emails per month. This allowance includes campaigns and automated messages. Even a short list can reach the sending limit with a frequent sequence; calculate both dimensions separately.

02
Paid offers to size

Do not compare Comfort and Power solely by subscriber count. Comfort limits sending and certain uses; Power advertises unlimited email sends under a fair use policy. Consider whether your activity is constrained by list size, sending frequency or the number of customer journeys you need to maintain.

03
Collecting with a Clear Promise

The platform brings together forms, pages and automations. Prepare a single registration proposal with explicit content and frequency. Check that the welcome message matches this proposal. Adding multiple forms does not improve a promise that the reader misunderstands.

04
Distinguish group and new person

The aid explains that an active address is not counted several times because it belongs to several groups or segments. However, keep a classification rule: source of registration, interest or stage of the course. A group created for each campaign will make tracking difficult to transmit.

When this option makes sense

Who it is for: who want to publish regularly and follow a small registration path.

When to look at another approach: If your main need is to drive a complex business cycle, check the required functions and integrations; a good newsletter editor does not automatically replace your CRM.

Example: a training activity

A business might send a monthly programme and a short welcome sequence to new subscribers. Write down these two schedules separately, then determine what information makes a follow-up relevant. If replies need individual follow-up in a sales record, organise that handover to your tracking tool instead of adding automated emails with no one responsible.

Price: what you really need to budget

Limits that may change your mind

MailerLite Free has been limited to 250 active subscribers and 2 500 emails per month since June 2026. Campaigns and automated messages both contribute to sending volume. Exceeding a free allowance may interrupt email sends; do not assume a welcome sequence will continue after a large campaign. The paid Comfort and Power plans have different limits. Prepare a projection of subscribers, email sends and customer journeys before comparing the monthly price.

Preparing your decision

Three checks to see if MailerLite suits you

The pilot must check data collection, classification rules and the total number of emails triggered.

  1. Preparing the welcome route

Use test addresses that you control. Define the message promised, the delay and the group expected. Compare the form and message display on the phone.

  2. Count the entire sequence

Add newsletter, welcome and re-launch over a typical month. Add the case of a new subscriber entering mid-month. Check that your estimate does not only count manual campaigns.

  3. Getting out of the course properly

Unsubscribe a demo address and check the following messages. Then export information useful for migration, including status and provenance, without reactivateing excluded contacts.

What EmailToolTester actually tested

This test was carried out by EmailToolTester, not by Logicelio. I cite it to provide a perspective based on actual use, without adopting its verdict as my own.

The protocol announced: Regular tests of the interface, vendor, automation and reporting.

MailerLite is praised for its ease of use and clear interface; the test is based on less advanced automations and a sometimes strict approval process.
